Roman Gold & Bronze Intaglio Ring
The intaglio in this little ring is a crab, carved in bronze. The bronze has been patinated to make it darker which gives a wonderful contrast to the gold. The ring is small, Size I1/2, and can be sized if necessary. The design of the ring is very Roman, with fine wire twisted round the shoulders of the shank, and three small gold beads at either end of the setting. Charming.
